    Am I eligible for IAS or UPSC exam after completing AMIE exam?

    Can I eligible for IAS or UPSC exam after compliting AMIE exam ?
    I completed Diploma course, then I complete AMIE exam, Now, May I eligible for UPSC EXAM ?

    Dear Aspirant
    The UPSC IAS eligibility criteria is Graduation,if you don't have any graduation degree from recognized.university then.you are not eligible for IAS exam.
    As you describe your condition,I think you don't have your Graduation.completed.so I suggest you to complete Graduation first in Ragular course,then you can apply for IAS exam.

    You are perfectly eligible.AMIE candidates are eligible for all exams as normal graduates.You have completed B.tech so why are you not eligible?From next time,do not say you have done AMIE.AMIE is an institution.You have done B.Tech from AMIE.It confuses other peoples who do not know about engineering fields like the one posting the first answer.You are eligible for Civil services,Engineering services and any other exams of UPSC,PSUs,State and others for both JE as well as AE posts and also in other posts.
