hello... i am on the verge of completing my BCA.... i want to know whether i am eligible for the IFS entrance exam...?? i mean to say can a BCA student appear for IFS exam? please reply soon...

yes the BCA students are applicable for the IFS exams,in fact students from any stream are applicable for the IFS exams,there is no limitations for the stream.Only the graduation degree is necessary for applying in the IFS exam or in any other like IPS,IAS .

The graduation degree from any stream and from any recognized university from any mode of education.

Candidate must be Graduate from any recognized university with at least one of the following subject Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology

OR

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Forest or in Engineering of any of university.

Age Limits:

Candidates age should be between
21-30 years for General
21-33 years for OBC
21-35 years for SC/ST

So dear if you fulfill above criteria then you can apply for this examination.

You should have passed bachelor's degree examination in any one of the - Agriculture/ Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Engineering/ Forestry/ Geology/ Mathematics/ Physics / Statistics/ Zoology from a recognized university then you can apply for this examination

Your age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines that are only for reserved category candidates as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

If you have completed BCA - Bachelor's of Computer Application then you should know that none of the above mentioned subjects match with the subjects of BCA but some of the institutes provides BCA with Mathematics as mandatory subjects so if you have completed then you can apply otherwise you are not eligible to apply for this examination

Every graduate are eligible for IFS entrance exam.

But it is also compulsory that he/she is coming under all requirements for that examination.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Candidate must be passed there graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation.
• Candidate should be under 21-30 years , 3 years age relaxation for BC candidate and 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidate.
