    Am I eligible for Indian Forest Services exam if completed B.Tech degree in 6 years instead of 4 years?

    hello sir,
    i completed my b.tech degree in 6yrs due to some reasons shall i eligible for indian forest services.

    hi,

    yes,

    you will defiantly eligible for this exam there is nothing worry about how many try you have done .

    but main thing is you age limit should bu 30 if you belong from open catagories otherwise it is 35.

    othewise you can be part of any UPSc's exams .

    Yes Of course

    You are definitely eligible to apply for the exam

    You must have a minimum of GRADUATION from a recognized university

    And the thing is to put in mind is GRADUATION


    And you must strictly follow the Age limits

    You must have a minimum of 21 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the Reserved candidates

    Yes friend, you are eligible for the IFS exam.

    UPSC conducts the recruitment for the post of forest officer through IFS exam.

    To apply for this exam you should be graduated in any stream from UGC recognized university or in case of distance university should be recognized by the DEC.

    You must be in age of 21 to 30 years.

    Age relaxation as per government norms

    SC/ST + 5 years

    OBC +3 years

    You must be the citizen of India.

    Eligibility for Indian Forest Service Examination

    Candidate should posses a bachelor's degree in any one of the following disciplines from a recognized university

    Agriculture
    Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
    Botany
    Chemistry
    Engineering degree in any discipline
    Forestry
    Geology
    Mathematics
    Physics
    Statistics
    Zoology

    Age limits are as 21 years of age is minimum and 30 years of age is maximum limit to apply for this exam but if you comes under reserved category then you can claim for upper age relaxation after crossing your maximum age limit

    5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates, 5 years for Ex-Servicemen and 10 years for PWD candidates

    if you have completed your engineering graduation in 6 years in place of 4 years, there is no problem at all.
    The only requirement for the upsc exam is that you need to be a graduate from a recognized indian university. There is no requirement of any marks in the graduation. You just need to keep this in mind that while filling up the exam form, your age must not be more than 30 years of age because the age criteria for giving the upsc exam is 21�30 years

    Indian Forest Services(IFS) examination is a civil services examination, which is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) every year for those contenders who want to do civil services.


    Yes, you are eligible for the IFS examination.


    The eligibility criteria required for the IFS examination are prescribed as below:-

    * Completion of graduation in anyone of these below mentioned streams from any accredited college or university.

    b) Statistics.
    c) Zoology.

    yes you can apply for ifs exam even if you have completed 4 year b.e in 6 years., since there is no such criteria in upsc exams.

    it will be possible if you are not over age according upsc term. than you may be apply for it .
    for ifs age factor is for general 21 to 30 year and attempts chance 4 time .
    for obc age factor is 21 to 33 year and attempts chance 7 time .
    foe sc/ st age factor is 21 to 35 year and attempts chance no limit .
