    Sorry my friend but you have to complete your Graduation first. After that you can apply for IAS/IPS/IES examination. If you will do Graduation in Engineering then you can apply for IES exam i.e. Engineering Services examination.

    The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

    The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

    Yes you are eligible for UPSC exams.

    Eligibility criteria for UPSC Examinations:-

    Nationality:- The candidate must be the citizen of India to apply for the Indian Administrative Service & Indian Police Service.

    Age Limit: - The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age and the maximum age is 29 years.

    Educational Qualification: - The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956

    Number of attempts: - Every eligible candidate is allowed to attempt the Civil Services Examination four times.

    Physical Fitness Criteria: - Candidate appearing for the Civil Service Examination should be physically fit according to the standards of the UPSC.

    Being a diploma holder in Civil Engineering you can apply for the UPSC exam and the exam which you can write is NDA

    NDA stands for National Defence Academy

    This exam is conducted by UPSC and is held every year.

    The eligibility which you need to possess in order to apply for the exam are listed below for your reference:

    >> You need to be a citizen of India.

    >> Only unmarried male candidate is eligible for the exam.

    >> The age limit needed for the NDA exam is that the candidate need to have 16 1/2-19 years

    >> Education qualification needed for the exam is that for joining in Indian Army you need to have completed +2 but in the case of joining in Indian Navy or Air Force you need to have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects

    >> Apart from all this you need to be physically fit while appeaing for the NDA Exam.

    Dear, generally UPSC did not conduct Exams for Diploma holders. So, its better to complete your Degree. Choose Arts stream for the same. It will not affect your other works. Choose those easy subjects which are included in the list of Optional Subjects of UPSC. It will help you a lot at the time of preparation of UPSC Civil Services Exam and other Graduate Exams like CDS, Indian Economic Service, CPF (AC) etc. Good Luck.

    NO, YOU NEED TO BE ATLEAST MINIMUM GRADUATE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR UPSC EXAMS BUT YOU CAN APPEAR FOR 10+2 basis examination conducted by upsc


    some examination 's and their eligibility which are conducted by upsc through out academic year just after your 10+2

    1.special class railway apprentices (physics,maths compulsory) once in a year.
    2.NDA for recuiting inn three armed forces irrespective of stream bi-annually age must be within 16.5-19 yrs.


    after you graduation:-

    you can appear for the examinations

    1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    whose eligibility criteria are :
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    You must be a citizen ofIndia,

    or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.


    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. HOWEVER,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs

    3.CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of indian union)

    exam conducted bi-annually

    in which age should be within 18-25 yrs.
    & one must be university graduate from recognised university

    there is no age relaxation for any category

    upsc conducts exams for the graduated candidates or the candidates who completed engineering from a recognized university,

    diploma holders are not eligible for the upsc exam,
    if you wish to give upsc exam then you need to complete you degree and then apply for the upsc exam.

    THE EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION FOR THE UPSC EXAM IS

    Sorry to say , your not eligible for UPSC Examination After Completing diploma Course .

    To apply for UPSC Examination than you have to Complete 12th standard / Graduation Course than Only eligible for UPSC Examination .

    If your Complete 12th standard than you may apply for NDA Examination which is Conducted by UPSC .

    To appear in NDA Examination than you should Complete 12th sandard from recongized Univerity .

    Physics and Mathematics subject is Mandatory to apply for Airforce/Navy Academy .

    Your age should be 16.5 years and 19 years and there is No relaxation will applicable for the candidate .

    As you have mentioned here that you have completed your diploma in Civil Engineering , so very sorry to say but you are not eligible for the UPSC Exam.

    This is because of the following :

    As per UPSC , only those candidates are allowed to appear in the exam who have completed your graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

    Also , Final Year candidates can also apply.

    Your age should remain in between 21-30 years.

    Friend after completing diploma you are eligible for just two undergraduate Exams
    1. NDA & NA (National Defence Academy & Naval Academy)
    2. SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice)

    Age Limit
    NDA & NA 16.5 to 19 years
    SCRA 17 to 21 years

    Educational Qualification
    For Army: 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board or University.
    For Air Force, Navy & Naval Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or University.

    You are not eligible for most of the UPSC Exams since the minimum requirement for most of the Exams is graduation and diploma is not considered as a graduate course, So you can do graduation and then you can apply for Various Exams like:
    Civil Services Exam (IAS,IRS, IPS)

    Friend, it is very sorry to say that you are not eligible for graduation level UPSC Examination. Because diploma holder are considered equivalent to intermediate. In this way, you are only eligible for under-graduate level UPSC Examinations - * NDA Examination * SCRA ExaminationFor NDA Examination, you required to have completed 10+2 in any stream and yoy should be within the age limit of 16.5 - 19 years. For SCRA examination, you again required intermediate in science subjects especially in physics & mathematics. Your age should lies between 17 - 21 years. NDA Examination comes twice in a year while SCRA Examination only once in a year. Here only unmarried males are eligible.WISH YOUR BRIGHT FUTURE

    For Civil Service Exam candidate must have Graduation degree not a Diploma.

    Diploma holder are not eligible for Civil Service Exam

    If you are Graduate with any stream from any recognized university

    then you can apply for Civil Service Exam

    because the educational eligibility for appearing the UPSC exam is Degree but you have diploma so you can't apply for UPSC exam.

    U.P.S.C --- UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

    The minimum qualification must be Graduation or Intermediate


    So diploma candidates are not eligible to apply for the exam

    The minimum age must be 16.5 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

    Of course there will be an age relaxation for the reserved candidates

    Yes you can apply for two exam with a diploma.The diploma is equivalent to 10+2 and it is necessary that you must understand that there are not many options for the 10+2 passed candidate.

    The two exam that you can apply is
    SCRA-Special Class Railway Apprentice-through this entrance you will be able to enter in the Indian Railways Institute of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at Jamalpur to study the mechanical engineering.After the course completes you will be provided the post of group A officer in railways.

    The qualification required is 10+2/or any other equivalent exam to 10+2 with maths and any one subject between physics and chemistry,with second division.
    Age limit-17 to 21 years.

    NDA-National Defence Academy-the entry in to the all three wings of the defence army,air force and navy.
    The qualification required 10+ passed with physics and maths for air force,navy and with any stream for army.
    Age limit-16.5 to 19 years(at the time of commencement of the course).

    you are not eligible for the same because the minimum educational qualification is the graduation from a govt. recognized university .

    it seems that you have no proper knowledge about the upsc examination so first you should get proper knowledge about the examination ,here are some imp details about the examination.


    eligibility requirement:-

    1. first of all you must be the citizen of India.

    2. and you must be a graduate or final year appearing student.
    ( your university must be ugc recognized)


    age requirement:-

    1. your age must be in between 21-30 years.

    2. age relaxation is given to the obc and the sc/st category of 3 and 5 years respectively .

    selection procedure:-


    1. prelims examination .

    2. mains examinations.

    3. vocal interview.


    so i advice you to complete your graduation from a govt recognized university and the think about the upsc examination .

    Hi,

    Educational qualification required to apply for UPSC exam is graduation in any stream from any recognized university. Diploma is not a graduation so you are not eligible for UPSC. You have to first complete your graduation in any stream from any recognized university.

    Dear i am really sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for UPSC examinations because there is no examination under the UPSC board for which the candidates required for diploma in any engineering stream means there is a separate examination for engineering services and to apply for that candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering in any one of the civil/electrical/electronics & telecommunication/Mechanical but still you have only a diploma in civil engineering so that dear you are not eligible to apply for any UPSC examination but if you are interested in central government jobs then you can apply for following examination

    Eligibility for SSC - Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineering Examination

    Candidate should have passed his/her 12th class from a recognized board with good academic record

    Candidate should have a diploma or degree in any one of the - civil/electrical/mechanical from a recognized board/university/institute

    Age should not be less than 18 years and more than 27 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

    so you better do graduation first then only you can apply

    Yes, you are eligible for UPSC exams.

    Eligibility criteria for UPSC Examinations:-

    Nationality:- The candidate must be the citizen of India to apply for the Indian Administrative Service & Indian Police Service.

    Age Limit: - The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age and the maximum age is 29 years.

    Educational Qualification: - The candidate should be graduate.

    Number of attempts: - Every eligible candidate is allowed to attempt the Civil Services Examination four times.

    Physical Fitness : - Candidate should be physically fit.

    This is sorry to say that as you being a diploma holder you are not allowed to give the upsc exam because the eligibility of giving the upsc exam says that you need to be a graduate to give the upsc exam

    Dear Friend,

    After diploma you are not eligible for civil services examination.Which conducts by Union Public Service Commission.

    Minimum qualification is required that candidate must be passed his/her graduation from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

    So, firstly you passed your graduation after that apply for civil services examination.

    Sorry, after diploma you are not eligible for civil services exam.

    For that exam candidate should be graduate from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

    Candidate must be under 21-30 years.

    candidate must be citizen of India.

    Attempts :-

    GEN : 4
    BC : 7
    SC/ST : No Limit

    Exam name : UPSC Civil Services Exam conducted once in a year

    Age : 21yrs to 30yrs
    Educational Qualification: Graduate in nay discipline from any recognised university in India

    and you are a diploma, so first you have to complete graduate in India then you can apply for the Civil Services Exams
