Dear
Sorry, you are not eligible for IES exam
According to you you will complete your 21 years old in May 2013
So your age is below 21 year
Candidate must be 21 year as on 1st January of the year
So you can apply next year
Good Luck
Hello,
UPSC calculates the date of birth as on 1st of January of the exam year. So, you were of 20 yrs age on 1st Jan' 2013 and hence NOT eligible for IES exam this year. The minimum age is same for all irrespective of the community they belong to.
Nothing to worry about. You have one more year. Use it to sharpen your knowledge. Study hard.
