Yes you can try for IAS after your BBM because you fullfil the elligibility criteria for the exam,.You should be minimum graduate in any discipline to sit for this exam,with minimum of 21 tears to 30 years of age.For pre exam 2 papers are there General studies and One optional subject like Indian History,Management,Physics,Chemistry,Botany,Zoolog y,Mathamatics,Phisioloy.sociology etc..In main paper one will be a language and next will be the subject of your choice .Final is personal Interview,that will be taken by Board members .!!!
if you wish to pursue IAS exam after doing BBM , you can surely do that. What you need for appearing in the exam is a graduation degree form a recognised university(no matter in which stream), age limit is 21-30 years for general canidates which is relaxed by 3 and 5 years in upper age limit for obc and sc/st respectively. Also for general candidates no of attempts are 4, 7 for obc and no restriction for sc/st.

The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.
