Dear Aspirant,
-The subjects you choose for the Mains Exams of the CIVIL SERVICES conducted by the UPSC every year, depends solely upon your INTEREST and STRENGTH.
-Its very important to remember that the selection of the optional subjects determines the course of your exams. They carry as much as 1200 marks.
-Hence,you should be very cautious while selecting them.Take your time but make a good decision.
-Here,by your choice you want to go for INDIAN HISTORY,PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION and GEOGRAPHY.
-Trust me,even I would have recommended you these. These subjects are very much opted for in the exams, even by non-Arts students, the IITians and the Doctors too.
They are the first choice of all.
-These subjects are very scoring. As seen in every year, the marks scored in these are much higher than any other subject.Hence the success rate of these are also high when compared to other subjects.
-These subjects also form the core of the Paper-1 of the Preliminary Exams. Therefore, you will be able to prepare for both the phases side by side. This saves a lot of time.
-The questions asked about in the Interviews are also mostly based on Public Administration.NO DOUBT IT IS THE THE FIRST CHOICE OF ALMOST EVERY STUDENT.
::: If you improve your writing skills and work hard in these subjects, then you will definitely qualify these exams :::
Good Luck!!

(5) Its better if optional subjects are in your graduate level or in which you are mastered
Since, you are BBM Graduate so its, good to go for MANAGEMENT and COMMERCE & ACCOUNTANCY AS YOUR OPTIONAL SUBJECTS.
