sir, i am in 7 th semester B.E. ,can i apply for cds(i) .
i am eligible or not.

Dear,

For CDS exam candidate must have graduate/appear in the final year or final semester. At present you are in the 7^th semester, when 2013 exam will come then you are

appear in the final semester, so you are eligible for the exam. But condition is that when the documents verification step will come then you have complete degree

certificate.

CDS Exam held two times in a year.

Under CDS Exam four departments requires the candidate

1. Indian Military Academy
2. Officer Training Academy
3. Air force
4. Navy.

Age and qualification requirements:-

Eligibility criteria:-

Indian Military Academy age limit is: 19 to 24 Years
For Officer Training Academy age limit: 19 to 25 years
Navy age limit: 19 to 22 years
Indian air force age limit: 19 to 23 years

The qualification is required for the CDS exam is different-2 is like as:-

The Indian military academy graduation in any stream from the recognized university.
The officer training academy graduation in any stream from the recognized university.
The Indian air force graduations in science stream form the recognized university.
The naval graduations in science stream from the recognized university.

Dear aspirant,

If you are doing degree now and you haven�t completed your degree now then you not eligible for now.

But you will be eligible for CDS exam after you complete your degree.

Your age must be 19 to 25 years when you are applying for the CDS exam.

CDS exam is a combined defence services exam which is conducted to recruit officers in Army , air force and navy.

You have to pass objective type paper to be eligible for the SSB interview. In interview you have to clear many tasks given to you to become a officer.

But at the date of commencement of your training , you must have your degree in hand .

So you have to apply accordingly ... or else you can give the examination as a pre-preparation before the attempt...

CDS

CDS stands for Combined Defense Services. it is conducted by UPSC.CDS conducts exams for Indian navy,Indian air forces and Indian army two times in the year.

CDS-1:
It releases notification in th month of April and it conducts exam in the month of June.

CDS-2:
It releases the notification in the month of october and it conducts exam in the month of December.

Educational qualifications:
must completed degree with 60%

Age:
You age must be in between 19 to 22 years

Height:
you must have 165 Cm height

Eye sight:
You do not have sight
