You should have completed your bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and SC/ST category candidates must secure at least 45% marks in their graduate degree.
UPSC Board will conduct next IAS exam in 2013 which would be the preliminary exam by UPSC board and if you complete your 21 years of age then you can apply for IAS Preliminary exam and all pre and mains exams are necessary to qualify to reach to the interview board for interview process.
