-The CIVIL SERVICES Exams,known to as the UPSC exam to many,are conducted annually by the UPSC.
- Having completed 32 years of age,You can appear for this exam only under the circumstances that you are entitled to a relaxation of any sort.
The upper age limit for General Category student is 30 Years.
� The COMPLETE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA of
the CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS are mentioned
below :
[01] NATIONALITY.
You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must very a subject of Nepal or
Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled
permanently in India before 1962.
[02] AGE LIMITS.
You must be 21 To 30 Years of age.
However,the upper age limit is relaxable by-

dear to apply in upsc age of the candidate must lie between 21 to 30 years.
but candidates who belongs to OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.
so if you are a candidate belonging to general category then you cannot apply for the upsc exam because your date of birth is not eligible but if you belongs to OBC or SC/ST then you can apply upto the age of 33 and 35 years.

First, you need to know what is UPSC.
UPSC is Union Public Service Commission which conducts many exams in which Civil Service Exam(CSE).
CSE has a misnomer as 'IAS exam' or 'UPSC exam'.
Qualification for the CSE:
Educational Qualifications: Graduation
Age: General:21-30yrs, OBC:21-33yrs, SC/ST:21-35yrs
Note: There's a considerable age relaxation for the categories like Ex-service men, Blind, Deaf-Mute etc.

Eligibility Criteria for the UPSC Examination :-
->Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognize university. Final year candidates may also apply.
->The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of examination. Age relaxation is also applicable for the reservation category candidates.
If you belong to the general category then as per eligibility criteria you are not eligible to apply the UPSC examination.

If you are belongs to General category then you can not apply for the UPSC exam.
Because for General minimum age required 21 year & maximum 30 year on 1st August on the year of examination.
Upper age limit relaxed by 3 year for OBC & 5 year for SC/ST.
The Upper age limit is also relaxed in favour of Defence service personnel.

If you belong to the reserve category then you are eligible for the exam.
Age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years.
Age relaxation for the reserve category reserved category
3 years for the obc category
5 years for the SC/ST category.
If you belong to reserve categories then you are eligible for the exam.

There is minimum age limits :
For General category 21-30 year
For OBC category 21-33 year
For SC/ST category 21-35 year
Ex-servicemen +5 year
Physical Handicapped +10 year
So dear you can not apply because you are over age

Friend you can apply for UPSC Exam at the age of 32 years only if you belong to reserved category. You cannot apply for UPSC Exam if you belong to General category.
The Age Limit criteria for most of the UPSC Exams are as follows:
General 21-30 yrs
SC/ST 21-35 yrs
OBC 21-33 yrs
PH 21-40 yrs
The Other Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

If you are a OC students then you ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for the exam

Should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which are as
