    First of all i want to make you sure that IAS is not a exam. It is a post which you can get through Civil Services Exam. Civil Services Exam is conduced by UPSC every year.
    For Civil Services you must have completed graduation or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.
    Note that before applying for Civil Services make sure that your university is recognized.


    Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:


    >>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.
    >>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.



    Limit Number Of Attempts:

    >>General category: 4 attempts

    >>OBC category: 7 attempts

    >>SC/ST category: No Limit

    Eligibility for UPSC IAS Examination

    To apply for this examination, you should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institute or university

    Final year pursuing, final year examination appearing and final year/semester result awaited candidates are also eligible to apply for this exam

    Age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years to appear for this examination and if you belongs to reserved categories then you may claim for upper age relaxation just after completing 30 years of age that will be provided you as per government norms that is :

    5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates

    If you have completed your bachelor's degree from a open university then you may apply for this examination because there is no problem about degree but your university must be recognized under the government and rules but if you have completed your bachelor's degree after completing 10th class and did not complete 12th then you will not be considered eligible for this examination

    yes you can.
    only requirements are:
    1.should be graduated from any for course from any of well know universities.
    2.should be citizen of INDIA
    3.age bound is 21 - 30 years.

    On the basis of 10th and Graduation from Open University you will be eligible for UPSC IAS entrance examination.
