    Does community - Kammas come under which category, OBC or General with respect to UPSC exams?

    Are kammas comes under OBC OR GENERAL in upsc exams?according to state kammas comes under OBC.what about upsc then?

    Dear,

    for the obc category age limit is 21 to 34 years and attempt the exam 7 times.

    dear kammas category according to my knowledge is under the obc category,

    Hiii.....friend first of all one thing i have to say i.e., kammas(community) comes under general caste only with respect ot central government....If you can apply for central government jobs or any UPSC exam then you will have to OBC certificate that is given by VRO in your city....so that is no problem at all ...first you have to apply for OBC certificate after that go through for apply any jobs in india and then you will come under OBC cast any way all the best my friend....

    http://www.ncbc.nic.in/Centrallistifobc.html

    It is the list from national commission for backward classes. If your community is in this list then you will be given reservation through OBC quota.

    the kammas comes under the OBC category as per the requirements(conditions) being set by the govt. of INDIA. this is same for all govt. organisations even in the UPSC.

    Dear Aspirant,

    For the upsc exam dear their is relaxation given to the different category

    Dear for general the age limit is 21-30 and for the obc 21-33

    And for the sc/st candidates 21-35

    And the candidate should be pass in graduation

    Also the caste belongs to obc so you will get the benefit like that is given to obc candidate
