to apply for the Civil Service exam you will have to fill the application form that is published by the UPSC every year in the month of February.
In this year form is going to be released on 2/2/2013 and last date of application form will be 4/3/2013.
Exam date will be 19/5/2013.
You can apply for the Civil Service exam through Online and Offline mode.
Online application can be filled at http://upsc.gov.in
examination fee: Rs. 100
Payment mode: Net banking, ATM card, SBI challan form and CRF stamp for offline mode.

you can apply for UPSC Civil Services exam after completing or while pursuing in final year of graduation. is conducted by UPSC every year for the posts of IAS, IPS, IRS etc.
Civil Services exam constitutes three parts:
1. CSAT
2. Mains
3. Interview
for appearing in exam you have to fulfill some other requirement like:
>>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.
>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
and you must have attained the minimum age on same date and you have not attained the upper age on similar date.
Limit Number Of Attempts:
>>General: 4 attempts
>>OBC: 7 attempts
>>SC/ST: No Limit

Dear we are sorry to say that you have not mentioned the name of any exam which is conducted by UPSC board and for which you are going to apply and preparing but according to our thoughts that you are preparing for UPSC civil service exams because most of the candidates are there those who are only interested in civil service exams so that dear you may apply for this exam but you should have following eligibility criteria for this exam :
A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and if you are pursuing final year of your degree or awaited for final year result then also you may apply for this exam
Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category
