Dear Aspirant,
If the post you are holding in the army is allotted as a result of good performances in the previous UPSC exams,then you are not eligible to apply for the upcoming Civil Service Exams conducted by the UPSC.
You will have to quit the post you are holding in order to be eligible to apply for these EXAMS.
But if you are not holding the post through the Same,then you can apply for these exams,and fill the forms online in the month of February on the official website of the UPSC.

dear sir, once you got selected in the army as an officer , you are not allowed to write any other exams of govt .until and unless you give resegnation to your army job.
Dear candidate
an army officer who want to appear for the ias and ips exam have to resign from his/her current post because a candidate can not work at the both post simultaneously. If any candidate who selected for the permanent rank by the upsc can not apply again until he/she did not give resign from his/her job.
If any candidate want to appear for the ias and ips then he/she have to fill the form according to the notification. Candidate can fill the form offline or online.
