This is conducted by the union public service commission under the civil services examination for requiting the dist collector in dist level.
For writing the IAS exam for become a IAS officer in dist level,required requirements;..
Required Requirements :
For writing this exam required educational qualifications are you must completed the any graduation from recognized university and here not required any percentage.
Required minimum age limit should be 21-30 years for general category candidates and 21-33 years for OBC category candidates and 21-35 years for SC/ST category candidates.
You must be indian citizen.
You must be physical fit.
For general category candidates can apply this exam 4 times only and OBC category candidates can apply 7 times and SC/ST category candidates have NO LIMIT.

QUESTION PATTERN FOR IAS Exam
The pattern of the exam is divided into three sections.
First is the preliminary examination. It is further divided into two papers. The duration of each paper is 120 minutes.
Those who qualify this level have to attend a main exam. This paper will hold a written test followed by an interview.
In the written test candidates have to attend 9 papers. The duration of each paper is 180 minutes. The final phase is the Interview.
Syllabus
The portions for the preliminary Exam paper one are Indian history and national movements, geography, current events, general science, Indian polity and government, economics etc.
The portions for paper two are Comprehension, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Decision Making, General Ability, English language etc.

B.A is a graduation degree course and after graduation every candidates are eligible for civil services examination.
For that exam you should be graduate from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.
It does not matter that in which fields you are passing your graduation only you should be graduate.
Your age must be under 21-30 years , 3 years of age relaxation for BC candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
