dear friend to apply for IAS exam one should have completed his graduation or either should be in final year of graduation and there is no percentage criteria and as far as age is concerned for general it is 21-30 for obc it is 21-33 and for sc/st it is 21-35 ok friend

The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.
So if you are below 30 years and upper than 21 years then you can appear in examination.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services and to become IAS Officer, you have to complete your graduate degree course in any discipline from a recognised University and apply for the UPSC Civil services examination. This examination is conducted every year and the notification of this examination will be published in the month of February.
For this year examination Notification was already Declared and the last date of apply for this examination was already over.
The Preliminary examination will be conducted soon on 20/May/2012.
