As many times you wish to attempt.There is no restrictions in the number of entry,you can apply for CDSE as as long as you keep satisfying the eligibility criteria.
The only hurdle that can come is the age limit as,the qualification will remain the same but if any thing can change is age.

You just need the criteria to be full filled as long you want to apply.

There is no number of attempts limit for CDS exam...you can give how many ever times you want except you are below the mentioned age limit.

There is no limitation for the number of attempts of the CDS exam.
You can give the exam upto the upper age limit of CDS exam.

the age limit for different wings in CDS exam is given as:-

1.For Indian Army :-19-24 years

2.For OTA(Officer Training Academy):-19-25 years

3.For Air force:- 19-23 years

4.For Navy:- 19-22 years.

So you can apply for the different wings as per their age limit.

There is no fixed number of attempts for CDS exam.You can appear for CDS as many times as you want to wish OR as many times as you need to qualify within the age limit.CDS is conducted twice and age limits fro different branches are IMA 19-24yrs,OTA 19-25yrs, AFA -19-23yrs and INA 19-22yrs.You can appear as many times but within the given age limits only

CDS exam is the best exam to join Defense services after Graduation degree in the following branch;-

Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air force Academy and Officer Training Academy

You can apply for maximum number of times up to your maximum age limit.

-For Indian Military Services: 19 years to 24 years.
-For Air Force Academy : 19 to 25 years.
-For Officer's Training Academy : 19 years to 25 years.
-For Indian naval Services: 19 years to 22 years only

But you need to satisfy the criterias for appearing to this exam..
And till you are satisfying the criteria for this exam you can apply for this exam...

- The first thing is that you must have completed your graduation from a recognized university.....

As this exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates under different wings...
So, here I am giving the names of the wings along with their age criteria..

Indian Military Academy 19-24 years
Air Force Academy 19-23 Years
Naval Academy 19-24 years
Officers� Training Academy 19-25 years (not before 2 June)


So, unless and until you are satisfying this age criteria you will remain eligible to apply for this exam.....

- There is no restrication in sitting in CDS exam like it is in Indian Civil Services Exam.

- One can sit in CDS exam in one's age limit fixed by UPSC for CDS exam.

- There are different age limits in CDS exam for different fields as mentioned below:

for general =21 to 30
obc=21 to 33
sc,st=21 to 35

Till now there is no limit for no of attempts but you should check your eligibility criteria in case of age and educational qualification which you can visit from upsc.gov.in.
