Any degree from a recognized University in any stream is valid for IPS exam.
Appearing in Final year candidates are also Eligible.
There is no percentage Requirement.
Your age should be between 21-30 years.
Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.
IPS exam consist two exam;-
Preliminary exam
Mains exam
After Clearing these two exam,you will be called for Personality Interview.

for IPS you need only one degree(Graduation) in any discipline from recognized college or university. Final year graduation students are also eligible to write exam.

UPSC conduct the IPS entrance exam once in a year. The eligible candidates are applying for the exam through online/offline mode.
Eligibility:
1. Educational Qualification:- Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
2.Age limit:- The candidate must have attained 21 year & not have attained 30 year on 1st August of the year of examination.
3.The upper age limit is relaxed for certain reserved categories & others.
4.The candidates must be a citizen of India.
So, from the above discussion it is clear that Graduation is the only degree required for IPS job. There is no percentage required to apply for the IPS entrance exam.
To become an IPS it is necessary to qualifying the entrance exam with a good rank.

IPS stands for Indian Police Services.It comes into civil services.For that you give civil services examination.Civil services examination conducts by Union Public Service Commission once in every year.
For civil services examination candidate must be graduate from a recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.
Only one degree course is enough for civil services examination.
For that examination candidate must be under 21-30 years.
3 years age relaxation for BC candidate , 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidate and 10 years age relaxation for Physical Handicapped .
General candidate has 4 attempts to apply where as BC candidate has 7 attempts to apply and SC/ST candidate has no limit to apply.

Well it's good to see that you want to became an IPS.
IPS is an acronym for Indian Police Services.
How to became an IPS in India ?
You have to appear for the Civil services exam conducted once in a year by UPSC.
The Exam consists of three stages.
1. Prelims
2. Mains
3. Interview
Once you cleared the first stage i.e. than only you will be called for the second stages and so on. Ans the last and the final stage is the Interview. The entire process will take one year.
Educational Qualification : Candidate should be a "Graduate"
Graduations in any discipline from any recognised university of India. There is no any cut off percentage mentioned by UPSC for apply.
