    Dear friend

Educational qualification required to write UPSC Civil Service exam is graduation from a recognized university. In the case of distant learning institute has been approved by DEC(Distance Education Council). That means both UGC and DEC approvals are required for your institute.

I think Maharashi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya college is approved by both UGC and DEC.Then you are eligible to write Civil Service exam.

    Good Luck

Your University should be UGC recognised for full time courses and for part time courses University should be recognised by UGC and DEC both.If your University is UGC and DEC recognised then you are eligible as you are a Graduate and that is the minimum eligibility for the exam for Civil services.Your age should be within 21-30years for General and 21-33 for OBC and 21-35 for SC/ST..You can check your University recognition at its website or can check in the website of UGC for list of recognised universities.

    Dear friend,

the answer of your question is absolutely yes only if your graduation degree is with a govt. recognized university.

if your degree is from govt. recognized university then you have the sufficient educational qualification for civil services examination.

but having only educational qualification is not expected from a civil services aspirant , you have other requirements to fulfill as described below.

nationality:- the candidate must be the citizen of India.

    age requirement:-

    1. for general category:- 21-30 yrs.

    2. and the age relaxation is given to the obc and sc/st category as per govt. rules of 3 years and 5

    years respectively.

    3. also for the ex serviceman and handicapped persons an age relaxation of 5 and 10 years of age relaxation are
    provided according to their category.

    No of attempts:-

    1. for general category:- 4 attempts are allowed.

    2. for obc category:- 7 attempts are allowed.

    3. for sc/st category:- no restriction.

one more thing you should remember you can only be eligible if you completed your graduation while final year of graduation or in

final semester candidates are also eligible to apply.
