IAS exam stands for Indian administrative services.
Criteria for IAS exam:-
*Must be an Indian
*AGE- 21 to 30 years
5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC candidate
This exam is divided in to 2 parts
1)Preliminary exam
2)Final exam
In preliminary exam there is on 2 papers
*General knowledge
*Optional paper-choose by candidate
after select on preliminary then candidate call for final interview.

For the civil service exam the qualification is required candidate must have graduate or it�s Equaling
Degree in any stream from the approved university.
Upsc demand only graduate student for the exam higher qualification is no matter for the exam, it is only beneficial for you in the future and your knowledge.
The age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years for the unreserved category.
Age relaxation for the reserve category as per government rules,
Exam complete in three steps
Preliminary exam
Mains exam
Interview.

Civil Services Exam Will be held in Three Round .
1. Preliminary Exam
2. Main Examination
3. Interview Test
1. Preliminary Exam - This is an objective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, qualifies tothe second phase.
2. Main Exam - This is a subjective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, passes to the third phase after clear this you can go for interview round

Hai,As chartered accountancy course is not an graduation degree you cannot appear for ias examination..So you be a graduate in any stream..Then only you can give a try for the examination..Thank you..
