There is no such limitations for appearing in the CDS examinations because the fact is that you can attempt all the CDS that is conducted between your age limits .
The age limitations for different wings of army is :
>>Indian Naval Academy: 19 to 22 years.
Educational requirement: Graduation from a recognised university with maths& physics as compulsory subjects.
>>Indian Military academy: 19 to 24 years.
-->Graduation in any stream from a recognised university.
>>Air force: 19-23 years
--->Graduation from a recognised university with maths and physics as compulsory subjects.
>>Officer's training academy: 19-25 years.
--->Graduation in any stream from a recognised university.
So,you can attempt all the CDS examinations that is conducted between the given age limits.
CDS stands for Combined defence services.

Well mine friend, You see since you didnt appear for the that particular examination, your Chance for that particular attempt would not be counted.
As you know that CDSE is an examination conducted bu UPSC which is responsible for conducting many Central Level Examinations.
According to eligibility criteria of CDSE as published by UPSC :
>> You may appear for as many attempts until you have your age left.
>> Age limit vividly varies from IMA to Navy, but maximum is 19-24(IMA) while minimum is 19-22 years(Navy)
>> You must be Indian Citizen to appear for this examination.
>> You must be graduate from a recognized University.
So, Attempt this examination again with full heart, you may have many attempts untouched.

Every general eligible candidate is allowed to attempt the Civil Services Examination 4 times.
For OBC candidate’s no. of attempts is 7 times and for SC/ST infinite no. of attempts

There is no limitations for appearing the CDS Examination.because you can attend this exam in between your age limit.
CDS stands for Combined Defense Service this examination is conducted by Union public Service Commission and this exam is conducted by Twice Per year.And it have a four academy and different age limit criteria's.
Officer Training Academy:- This exam is appear for both male and female candidate's and the candidate should be citizen of india,The Candidate should be complete the Bachelor degree in recognized university and there is no minimum percentage of mark for this examination.and the candidate age limit should between 19 to 25 years.
Indian Military Academy:- If you apply this exam you should be have this eligibility Criteria's. You should be citizen of india, You should be complete the Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university and there is no minimum percentage of mark for this examination. And your age limit should between 19 to 24 years.
Naval Academy:- The candidate Age limit should between 19 to 24 years. and should be complete the bachelor degree in reputed University.

As far as CDS exam is concerned there is no restriction on the number of attaempts one makes.The only criteria you should check is whether you are falling in the mentioned age bracket or not.
If you fall between 19 to 25 that is if you have not crossed the age of 25 years you are still free to appear as many times you want to appear.
CDS is conducted twice a year as CDS-I and CDS-II in the months of february and september respectively.
