    Mathematics and Statistice
    Agriculture and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science

    Any two branches of engineering
    Animal Husbandry & Veterimary Science and Mediacal Science
    Combination if two Literatures

    you can choose subjects according to your knowledge and which subject you know better you can choose that subject.

    There is no condition for you for the mathematics subject or course.


    No subject is required in the preliminary exam because both of the exam is the general studies.


    In the mains exam the you have took the two subjects from the list which is given by the upsc:-

    Agriculture
    Management

    Animal Husbandry & Vet nary
    Science
    Mathematics
    Anthropology
    Mechanical Engineering
    Botany
    Medical Science
    Chemistry
    Philosophy
    Civil Engineering
    Physics
    Commerce & Accountancy
    Political Science &
    International Relations
    Economics
    Psychology
    Electrical Engineering
    Public Administration
    Geography
    Sociology
    Geology
    Statistics
    Indian History
    Zoology
    Any language subject:-
    Arabic, Assamese, Bodo,Bengali, Chinese,
    Dogri, English, French, German, Gujarati,
    Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili,
    Malayalam, Manipur, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya,
    Pali, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit,

    No mathematics is not necessary for UPSC exam.
    You can choose subjects according to your choice.

    You can choose subjects like:-

    Agriculture
    Zoology
    Anthropology
    Economics
    Electrical Engineering
    Geography
    Geology
    Botany
    Chemistry
    Civil Engineering
    Commerce
    Sociology
    Statistics
    Indian History
    Law
    Management
    Mechanical Engineering
    Medical Science
    Philosophy
    Physics etc.


    You can choose these subjects and can get a chance to apply for UPSC.

    you can choose which you like and knows subjects.

    there is no such type of rule that mathematics is a compulsory subject In civil services exam


    You choose subject according to your knowledge and interest level

    No, dear there is mathematics course no compulsory for UPSC Exam.

    Mathematics is compulsory for SCRA Examination only.

    For civil service exam candidate must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university.

    And you can select any optional subject in examination according to you choice and your knowledge. There is no boundation.
