Re: What optional subjects should I choose for UPSC exam being a biology student?
the upsc civil services examination is carried out in two phases .
the preliminary examination and
the mains examination.
the candidate who clear the preliminary examination are called for the mains examination.
for the mains examination the candidates has to select an perfect combination of subjects for him in order to clear the examination.the selected subjects are to be mentioned while filling the for the upsc civil services examination.
being a biology student you would surely willing to take this as a subject for this examination.
in my view you should think once more about your decision.
because it can a really tough job to clear this examination with biology as subject.
but if you are fully dedicated to take this as a subject then you probably go for it .
but try to have a more scoring and easier subject as your other optional subject
for the combination.arts subjects like history geography are considered very scoring
for this examination so should think about them to for your examination.
