-The number of attempts in the INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE exams conducted by the UPSC is not restricted for the candidates,provided they satisfy the Eligibility Criteria of this exams completely.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
# Nationality : You must be an Indian Citizen or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or, You must be a Tibetan refugee settled in India permanently before 1962.
#Educational Qualifications : You must have completed your BTech from a recognized university in any of the following streams.

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS IN IES:
# For General Candidates- Maximum Four attempt under age limit.
