    yes,
    teachers can also appear in the upsc examination the condition is that you must lie in between the age criteria .

    the age criteria is like as under;-

    1. for general candidates --21-30 years

    2. for obc candidates -21-33 years ./

    3. for sc/st candidates -21-35 years.

    dear friend,

    any person who have completed his graduation in any field from recognized college or university can apply for UPSC exams.

    AGE LIMIT:

    your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

    And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

    Dear,
    There is no class restriction for appearing UPSC's CSAT. You have to just fulfill the condition of the UPSC. The essential qualification for the CSAT is to pass the Bachelors degree in any stream at any recognized university. The age limit for it is 21-30years. The upper age limit for OBC is 3years and for SC/ST,it is 5years. The number of attempts for general category is 04 and for OBC candidates, it is 07 and for SC/ST, it is upto their last upper age limit. If you have the above qualification, then you must appear the examination. Best of Luck

    yes dear,

    teachers are eligible to apply because they are graduate and the minimum

    qualification required for upsc examination .

    see the qualification required for upsc examination :


    1. you must be a graduate from a ugc recognized university .

    2. you must be an indian.

    3. and your age is in between 21-30 if you are from general category.:-
    and for obc and sc/st there is an age relaxation of 5 and 3 years.

    any aspirant for UPSC (union public service commission ) who have completed his bachelor's degree from a recognised university is eligible for UPSC examinations.

    so,teachers are also eligible for UPSC examination if they satisfy the eligibility criteria:

    age limitations:

    depending upon the category to which teacher belong his age :

    should be 21-30 years if belonging to open category otherwise he /she will be given 3 years and 5 years relaxation in age for being a sc/st candidate respectively.

    yes teachers can also apply for upsc exams if they are graduates for recognized university and if they fulfill the age criteria for upsc exams
    age criteria for upsc exam:
    21-30 for general category
    21-33 for OBC category
    21-35 for SC/ST category
    21-40 for physically handicapped .

    if the applicant is a government employee then he/she will get an age relaxation of 5 years more .

    Hi friend,




    Well mine friend, yes everybody may appear for UPSC examinations.

    Until and unless they follow the rules of eligiblity which is regulated by UPSC.

    Since you are teacher, which means that atleast you must have completed Graduation , thus you are eligible for these examination :

    >> Civi; services

    >> Geologist examination

    >> CMS

    >>IES

    >> CDS

    >> IFS
    etc

    Hey there,

    Yes, teachers are most certainly allowed to take the UPSC examination.
    The only criteria being that you must be a graduate from any recognized University, and within the age limit of 21-30 years.

    Being a teacher, I suggest you opt for subjects closer to your areas of teaching so that it becomes a little easy when you start preparation for the exam.

    Yes you can....

    there is no metter with profession...

    only metter is you have to be graduate...

    you should follow some criterias as follow...

    you have to be graduate with passing marks from approved university or college.

    you have to be an indian

    age limit.....
    for open 21 to 30
    for onc 21 to 33
    for sc st 21 to 35

    no of attempts
    for open 4 attempts
    for obc 7 attempts
    for sc st no limit...

    YES Dear,

    the teachers are also eligible for the exam. the term and condition are same as like as the other candidate.

    candidate complete the graduation in any stream from the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet.

    the age limit for the candidate is the 21 to 30 years.

    age relaxation for the reserve category.

    the exam notification is declare in the month of the December/January.

    preliminary exam is held in the month of the may.

    mains exam is held in the month of september

    For UPSC entrance examination, there is no matter what kind of your job you have, just you should be graduate from recognized university, and full-fill the age criteria means,

    Yes definitely teachers are eligible for the UPSC Entrance Exam. UPSC does not consider marks, designation etc..
    You just need to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria to appear for the Exam.

    The basic eligibility criteria for maximum UPSC Exams are as follows:
    Educational Qualification
    The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
    Final year degree students are also eligible
    Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university

    Every Indian men/women who complete their Graduation any stream from any recognized university can apply

    His/ her age should be between 21-30 years.

    Age relaxation for OBC 3 years
    SC/ST 5 years
    Ex-Servicemen 5 years

    Yes, any one can give UPSC entrance exams only which have proper graduate degree from recognized university. But you are teacher you can also give this exams.

    Of course sir, Teacher are fully eligible to apply for the civil service exam.

    Civil Service exam is organized by the Union Public Service Commission at national level.

    This exam is conducted for the following posts

    IAS

    IPS

    IRS


    To apply for the civil service exam you should be only graduate in any branch of subject.

    Age should be between 21 to 30 years

    age relaxation

    SC/ST + 5 years

    OBC + 3 years

    PH + 10 years

    You should be the citizen of India.

    You can apply for Civil exam in 2013

    UPSC will release the notification for this on 2/2/2013
