as you have completed your graduation in the mechanical engineering field, it would be comparatively easy for you if you chose the option of giving the Indian Engineering Services IES. The reason behind is that there are many number of posts in the engineering services which belong to the mechanical engineering branch. Another reason is that as you completed your degree in this field you will face less problems while preparing for it because you will be already touch with the subjects.
