Re: Can I appear in UPSC exam after retiring from Indian Army?

If you have been retired from Indian army then you can apply for UPSC exams but there is a criteria for age and educational qualification and if you are under the age which is required and having following eligibility then you can apply for UPSC civil services exams :

    >> You should have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university and should have at least 50% marks in graduation.

    >> Your age should not be lesser than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation would be provided only to reserved category which is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates so that if you are under the above mentioned age then you can apply.

General category candidates are allowed to appear for this exam only for 4 times

OBC Category - 7 times and SC/STs have no limit means they can apply for this exam till 35 years of age.

    All the best
