    hi
IFS stands for the indian foreign services whereas IAS stands for the indian administrative services.
These are one of the highest and the best posts in the countrys government.
An IFS officer is appointed outside india, in abroad as the countrys ambassador in that country.
Whereas an IAS officer is allotted the domestic districts only. They are often appointed as the collector of a district.

    Dear Friend,

IFS stands for Indian Forest Services and IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services , both comes under civil services.
Civil services exam is conducts by Union Public Service Commission once in every year.
