Hello Friend,
UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission which is mandated by our Constitution to perform various functions required to recruit officers for various central level posts. On the other hand, PSU stands for Public Sector Undertakings which include various companies and banks. There are various exams meant for recruiting employee for PSUs which are conducted by PSUs or by any agency agreed upon by PSUs. There is wide difference in the job profile of the officers recruited by UPSC and PSUs. Officers recruited by UPSC are gazetted officers and work directly under some ministry which is not the case for officers recruited by PSUs.
Thanks,
