    What are the pre requisite conditions for a central government employee to get further 5 year age relaxation for UPSC CPF exam?

    Sir my age is 26,i m a central govt.employe,i belonged to a general catagory. Sir What are the pre-requisite conditions for a central goverment employe to get further 5 year age relaxation for apply in UPSC CPF?

    Eligibility for UPSC Central Police Force - Assistant Commandant Examination

    Should be graduate from a recognized university in any subject

    Age limits are required as - 20 years of age is minimum and 25 years of age is maximum limit for this examination and relaxation in upper age may only be claimed by those candidates who belongs to reserved categories as - SC/ST - 5 years, OBCs - 3 years, Ex-Servicemen - 5 years

    Note ( Same mentioned in the official notification ) :

    Upto of maximum of five years for civilian central government servants in accordance with the existing instructions of the central government

    So you need to apply for this examination because you may claim for upper age relaxation as being a central government employee but when you will go for personality test after passing examination, you will have to show the proof that you are the central government employee by providing your all accurate details related to the service then only you will be eligible for this procedure

    Examination Pattern for CPF - AC

    Paper I - General Ability and Intelligence - Objective type - 250 marks

    Paper II - General Studies, Essay and Comprehension - 200 marks

    If you qualify written examination then you will be called for Physical Standards and Physical Efficiency and Medical Standards test and required standards should be as :

    Physical Efficiency Test - PET :

    Males Females
    A - 100 meters race 16 seconds 18 seconds
    B - 800 meters race 3 minutes and 45 seconds 4 minutes and 45 seconds
    C - Long Jump 3.5 meters 3.0 meters
    D - Shot Puts - 7.26 kg 4.5 meters

    Required Physical Standards

    Height Men - 165 cm

    Height Women - 157 cm

    Chest ( Unexpended) Men - 81 cm with 5 cm of expansion

    Chest Women - Not applicable

    Weight Men - 50 KGs

    Weight Women - 46 KGs

    Required Medical Standards :

    Eye Sight - 6/6 or 6/9 for better eye and 6/12 or 6/9 for worse eye and near vision should be J1 for good eye and J2 for worse eye. Color vision should be or high grade

    Carrying Angle : Carrying angle should not be more than 15o
    and 20O for women

    Ear : Candidate should not have any degree of deafness of persistent ear discharge

    Nose : Candidates should not have DNS atrophic rhinistis, tubercular unceration etc.

    Neck : Candidates should not have enlarge nymph nodes thyroid or other swelling of neck, inability to extend the neck fully or any evidence of disease of spine cervical vertebrae

    Teeth : Candidates must posses sufficient number of sound teeth for efficient mastication

    Candidate should not stammer while speaking
