ISS stands for the Indian Statistical services examinations .IES stands for the Indian Economic services .The important dates for the ISS/IES 2013 exam are as below:

Date of notification:17/08/2013

Last date of receiving applications:16/09/2013

Date of examinations:07/12/2013.


Here ,I am attached the the PDF regarding all the details of ISS/IES exam conducted by the UPSC.It is the notification for year 2012 ISS exam .Only the important dates for 2013 exam will differ and rest of the eligibility conditions remains same.

I think you are talking about UPSC I.S.S./I.E.S exam.
The I.S.S.(Indian Statistical Services)Exam is held every year by UPSC.

Expected Dates for next ISS exams are as follows :
Exam Notification-17.08.2013
Last Date of Applications-16.09.2013
Exam Date-07.12.2013

The next ISS exams will be held over a period of 3 days starting on 07.12.2013.

Eligibility For ISS Exam :

Age Limit :
General Category-21-30yrs on 1st January of the year of exam
OBC-21-33yrs
SC/ST-21-35yrs

Educational Qualification :
Post Graduate Degree from an Indian University in Statistics/Applied Statistics/Matematical Statistics

UPSC board has announced the particular exact dates for upcoming ISS exam 2013 which are following :

1. Start date for online application - 17-08-2013

2. Last date for online application - 16-09-2013

3. Exact date for ISS/IES Exam - 07-12-2013

Eligibility Criteria for IES exam :

Candidate should have completed his/her master's degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and 45% marks for SC/ST category candidates.

Candidate's age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST category candidates and 3 years for OBC category candidates.
