Well, when it comes to validity of degree ,, it's confirmed that whether that Degree is approved or not.

In Case of OPen Universities and Distance education,, the board which regulates is called DEC.

Well, so your Graduation degree is valid,,, and you may appear for most of the UPSC's conducted examination.

First of all ,, i will like to remind you that UPSC is not any exam,,,,(i see many guys being possessed by this name)

UPSC is Union Public Service Commission which conducts various examination for elite posts.

the main eligibility to apply for the upsc examination is graduation or engineering
in any stream from a recognized university.

so you will become fully eligible to apply for the upsc examination after completing your B.Tech.
even you can apply for the upsc examination while pursuing the final year of your course.
you have not mentioned the upsc examination you are willing to appear.

for now i wanna tell you the eligibility for the topmost upsc examination called
the upsc civil services examination.
for the civil services examination your age should lie between 21-30 years .
if you belong to OBC or the SC/ST category then you will given
an age relaxation of 3 year if OBC and age relaxation of 5 years if SC/ST.

the civil services exam is conducted in two stages .
PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
MAINS EXAMINATION


notification for the upsc civil services examination is released in the month of feb/march.
The PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION is held in the month of MAY .
The MAINS EXAMINATION is held in the month of OCTUBER according to the subjects selected by the candidates.
