    Dear,

Extremely Sorry to say that you are not eligible for UPSC Exams. but don't panic. Go through Integrated BE /B.tech Degree in Civil Engineering to save the time. Than work hard for the preparation of UPSC Exams.

One benefit for female Candidates in UPSC is that they are exempted from Fee. So, Good Luck...

The minimum qualification for appearing in UPSC examination is Graduation. If you are only diploma holder kindly do the Graduation first. If you want to do engineering in civil engineering then it is best for you then you can apply for IES exam i.e. Engineering Services examination which is conducted by UPSC.

The eligibility criteria for appearing in UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

The Age limit for UPSC exam is 21 to 30 years on 1 August of Exam Year i.e. If you are appearing in 2012 UPSC exam then your age should between 2 August 1982 to 1 August 1991.

    Dear pal,
    • Diploma holders are not considered equivalent to bachelor degree holders and so you can not apply for the UPSC exam. To make yourself eligible for the exam you need to complete your bachelor degree.
    • If you prefer to do engineering you can directly join the second year and do the course. You can appear for the exam in the final year itself if you are above 21 years of age.
    • The women aspirant are give fee concession like that for sc and st aspirant. Women aspirant need not pay the fee for applying for the upsc exam. I.e full fee concession.
    • There is no other relaxation for female aspirant with respect to age or the academic requirement.
    • Debate is going on in the parliament regarding reservation for women in the vacancy available. Bill will be passed soon
