The relaxation in upper age limit upto a maximum of 5 years (10 years for persons belonging to SC/ST Communities and 8 years for persons belonging to Other Backward Classes in respect of posts reserved for them) may be allowed to meritorious sportswomen/sportsmen in the field of Games/Sports recognised by the Government for such purpose provided they satisfy all other conditions prescribed by Government from time to time. .[/FONT]

Or any relaxation given to the sports persons

In the upsc exams as their is rule or criteria

From the upsc side to give relaxation to all these candidates

For the exam their is relaxation given to the

Ex service man but not the sports person

Only age relaxation given to these candidates:

-The obc candidates given 3 years relaxation

-To the sc,st 5 years age relaxation given

-The age relaxation given to the ph of 10 years

-The age relaxation given to the ex serviceman of 10 years

Dear, there is no benefits for sports persons in UPSC Exam. but if you belong to any one of the following then you can avail it:- Age Relaxation:- 1. OBC- 3 yrs 2. SC/ST - 5 yrs. 3. Physically Challenged- 10 yrs. 4. if you belongs to above any one of them or if you are a female candidate then you will be exempted from Examination Fees.

is sports reservation is additional to you .

but the govt specified some sports you should champion in state level/dist level /national level is govt recognized.
