There is nothing as such.If one finds out properly, the number of candidates from each stream qualifying in the CS exams are more or less similar. There are number of subjects from each stream so it does not makes much of a difference. The only portion out of subject specialisation is English,Literature paper and Current affairs. If you are a n arts student you wmay benefit in the literature paper selected and English. That is all benefit one may get being an Arts student. But that can be prepared as well and Science candidates also are no way lower down the ladder. Moreover in the mains subject, science subjects are more scoring than the arts paper.
What matters the most is your preparation and dedication rather than being from Arts or Science or commerce. So better would be to prepare with full determination rather than worrying about stream specific. All the best

Dear you are absolutely right that Arts stream is better than science stream in case of preparing for civil service examination because there are some subjects that are completely relevant to the IAS examination and preparation of other UPSC exams but there are only few subjects or less topics covered in the science subject that are useful for civil service and other UPSC Examinations that is why if you are going to choose Arts in your graduation then you are going good but you must not leave your aim and keep preparing for IAS examination

You should just choose some good and relevant subjects in BA that could help you out in the preparation of civil service prelims and mains examination and you may choose History and Geography as your mandatory subjects for graduation and choose Political Science or Public Administration or Sociology subject with combination so you could easily get good knowledge of these subjects when you use other books to prepare for this examination so you will get same content and that will not be your study, that will be your revision in the preparation so do not go for any other bachelor's degree and just complete your graduation through Arts and when you come in final year of degree then apply for examination

I have attached complete notification for this examination please download and get all other details

    All the best

    Dear Aspirant

If you are interested in science then take science subject as one of the optional. You don't need to study more in arts paper.Just download the syllabus of General Studies for main examination and prepare accordingly.Don't think that arts students is more benefited than science. Both of them have to select one of the optional.Prepare for GS separately

don't think about which subject is easy or not, think that which subject you like the most. opt your subject according to your area of interest. if you are interested in science then for you cracking ias through science subjects is easy and is you are interested in commerce then cracking ias from arts subject would be easy for you.
    all the best
    happy learning!!!!

See if you are well aimed that you want do become an IAS officer. then before the time of your graduation, you should be clear about the optional subjects which you going to take during the mains. Now that subject could be of science stream or the arts stream.
Now according to that subject, go into the field of graduation, so that you can be in touch with that subject from your graduation days only.

Expensive you're completely correct that Arts flow is better than scientific disciplines flow regarding getting ready for municipal services evaluation since there are some subject matter that are entirely strongly related the actual IAS evaluation in addition to prep with different UPSC qualifications nonetheless presently there merely few subject matter or significantly less subject areas covered inside scientific disciplines matter that are helpful with regard to municipal services as well as other UPSC Check-ups this is the reason if you're planning to pick out Arts in your graduation well then, your intending very good nonetheless you should not keep your current target whilst getting ready for IAS evaluation

You must just choose some great in addition to applicable subject matter inside BA that could seriously help available inside prep with municipal services prelims in addition to mains evaluation and you will probably choose Past and Landscape because your required subject matter with regard to graduation and select Politics Scientific discipline or Public Current administration or Sociology matter having combination so that you could effortlessly get very good information of these subject matter by using different guides to ready in this evaluation and so you will definitely get similar articles in addition to which don't become your study, that has to be your revision inside prep use certainly not go for another bachelor diploma and easily entire your current graduation through Arts in addition to while you can be found in ultimate twelve months with diploma subsequently sign up for examination.

When you are looking at scientific disciplines subsequently consider scientific disciplines matter among the optional. You won't have to study extra inside arts paper.Just down load the actual syllabus with Common Studies with regard to major evaluation in addition to put together accordingly.Don't think that arts learners is far more gained as compared with science. Both ones must choose on the list of optional.Prepare with regard to GS separately'
    it's not correctly said.

See for anyone who is properly planned that you might want carry out become the IAS officer. subsequently just before plenty of time of your graduation, you need to be distinct regarding the optional subject matter you intending for taking in the mains. Because matter could represent scientific disciplines flow or perhaps the arts stream.
At this moment as outlined by that matter, enter into the joy of graduation, to help you be talking to that matter from a graduation days and nights only.
