See,it would have been much better had you mentioned your category.
You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of filling the IPS Exam form and not more than 30 years of age (various relaxations are available for different categories).
For other categories,the upper limit limit has been raised by 5 years.
So if you belong to the General category,then I'm sorry to say that you cannot sit in the exam.
But if you belong to SC/ST or OBC,then you can surely go for it!

The age limit for the UPSC exam is below :
