Hello Friend,
If you belong to general category, then you can't apply. The upper age limit for OBC(non creamy layer) is 33 yrs and for SC/ST is 35 years. OBC creamy layer is considered as general category. So, decide for you according to the category you fall under.

sc/st 21 to 35 years.
SO , if you belongs to general category then you are not eligible for UPSC EXAM.
if you belongs to obc or sc/st category then you are eligible for UPSC EXAM.
but you should have to passed graduate from the recognized university .

Dear UPSC board conducts various exams and if you are asking for Civil Services or Police Services or Economic Services or Forest Services then the age limitation is following for all over mentioned exams :
>> Candidate's age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years
>> Upper age relaxation would be provided to reserved category candidates
>> 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC Category
>> 10 years upper age relaxation for PWDs and 5 years upper age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen
Note : If you belong to SC/ST or OBC category or any other mentioned category which gets relaxations in upper age then you are eligible to apply for UPSC exams otherwise if you are in general category then we are sorry that you have crossed the maximum age limit which is required for Civil Services exam and you can not apply for this exam because there is no relaxation provided to general category candidates for Civil Services or any other services exams by UPSC board and by Government too.

UPSC civil services exam eligibility -

Other Backward Caste (OBC) - 21 to 33 years.
Schedule Caste (SC) - 21 to 35 years.

So if you genral cetegry then you not eligible for the UPSC exam .
And if you oter cetegry then you take this exam.

In UPSC for General Category min age requirement is 21 years and max age limit is 29 years...
for OBC: 21-33 years
for SC/ST: 21-35 years...
So if you belong to General Category you are not eligible...
but if you are belong to OBS or Sc or ST category you are Eligible...

Yes you can apply for the UPSC exam at the age of 30 yrs as for general category the upper age limit is 30 yrs on the day of commncement of the exam and also for the OBC category the upper age limit is 33 yrs and for SC/ST category the upper age limit is 35 yrs..

if candidate complete the 30 years old and belongs to the unreserved category then candidate is not eligible for the exam.
Because the age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years.
If you belongs to reserved category then you have the chance to attempt the exam.

Five years for the schedule caste and schedule tribes.
