    dear friend,

    at the age of 20 years you can apply for only UPSC SCRA exam. For that you need 12th with physics and Math or equivalent. Age limit for SCRA is 17 years to 21 years.
    According to me if you complete graduation then you can apply for various UPSC exams like Civil Services, CPF, CDS, IFS etc.

    no dear ,

    I feel very sorry to say that you are not eligible for upsc at the age of 20.

    because
    the age criteria is as under.

    1. for general candidates:- 21-30 years.

    2. for obc candidates:- 21-33 years.

    3. for sc/st candidates:- 21-35 years.

    and you are only 20 now . so you are not eligible right now.

    have patience and wait for one year.

    I am sorry to say that NO,

    No you are not eligible for This examination as minimum age is 21 years,

    So, to be eligible your age must lie in mid of 21 years to 30 years.

    Hi Aspirant,


    Sorry friend in the age of 20 years you can not apply for the UPSC exam.

    You should have minimum 21 years old to apply for UPSC exam.

    Maximum age limit for UPSC exam is 30 years.

    Age relaxation is given to the eligible categories according to government rules

    Schedule caste and tribe + 5 years relaxation

    Other Backward classes + 3 years relaxation

    Physically handicapped + 10 years relaxation


    You should be declared graduation passed from UGC valid university or its equivalent.

    Final year students can also apply for UPSC exam.

    You must hold Indian citizenship.

    the qualification and eligibility for upsc exams are mentioned below

    (i) Nationality:
    (1) For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
    (2) For other services, a candidate must be either:
    (a) A citizen of India, or
    (b) a subject of Nepal, or
    (c) a subject of Bhutan, or
    (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. or
    (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
    Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
    Provided further that candidates belonging to categories (b), (c) and (d) above will not be eligible for appointment to the Indian Foreign Service.
    A candidate, in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

    (ii) Minimum Educational Qualifications:
    The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

    Note I: Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission's examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination. All candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission for taking the Civil Services (Main) Examination will be required to produce proof of passing the requisite examination with their application for the Main Examination failing which such candidates will not be admitted to the Main Examination.
    Note II: In exceptional cases the Union Public Service Commission may treat a candidate who has not any of the foregoing qualifications as a qualified candidate provided that he has passed examination conducted by the other Institutions, the standard of which in the opinion of the Commission justifies his admission to the examination.
    Note III: Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications, which are recognised by Government, as equivalent to professional and technical degree would also be eligible for admission to the examination.
    Note IV: Candidates who have passed the final professional M.B.B.S. or any other Medical Examination but have not completed their internship by the time of submission of their applications for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, will be provisionally admitted to the Examination provided they submit along with their application a copy of certificate from the concerned authority of the University/Institution that they had passed the requisite final professional medical examination. In such cases, the candidates will be required to produce at the time of their interview original Degree or a certificate from the concerned competent authority of the University/Institution that they had completed all requirements (including completion of internship) for the award of the Degree.
    (iii) Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years exemption from the prescribed age limit.
    (The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognised by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University, which extract must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificate).
    (iv) Number of Attempts: Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.
    (v) Restrictions on applying for the examination:
    A candidate who is appointed to the Indian Administrative Service or the Indian Foreign Service on the results of an earlier examination and continues to be a member of that service will not be eligible to compete at this examination.

    yes,dear you are eligible for the upsc exams but not for all the exams .the examinations for which you are eligible is

    1.SCRA stands special class railway apprentice. for which the eligibility is :



    >>10+2 with the physics ,chemistry and mathematics.

    >>age range: 17-21 years.

    2.CDSE:



    >>combined defence service examination.

    >>you should have bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised university.

    >>your age should be minimum 19 years.

    Dear

    At present time you are not eligible for the upsc civil service or cds exam. when u are complete the 21 years and complete the graduation in any stream from therecognized

    university. then you are eligible for the cds exam and civil service exam.

    at present you are only eligible SCRA exam:-

    for scepial class railway apprentice required qualification secondary class passed from the recognized university.

    age limit for the 17 to 21 years

    no age relaxation for the reserve category,

    yes dear you are eligible for NDA and SRCA exams that are conducted by UPSC .

    eligibility criteria for SCRA

    1.CANDIDATE must have passed 10+2 board exams with maths,physics and chemistry
    2.The age limits is 17 to 21 year
    3.Student must be an INDIAN.

    NDA(national defence academy)

    1.Eligibility criteria for NDA:
    2.Candidate must be an indian male.
    3.Candidate should passed 10+2 from recognized board with mathematics,physics and english.
    4.Age of candidate must lie between 16.5 to 19 years.

    Hi Aspirant

    Yes you are eligible for the upsc exams

    You can write the upsc common Defence Services exam

    And you are fully eligible for the exam

    Upsc is conducting the exam twice in a year

    For the exam first their is a Written exam of objective Type

    And then their will be a ssb of 7 days and one of the difficult task

    And most of the students failed in the ssb

    Here is The Qualifications Required For The Exam:

    ~ The candidate should be pass in Graduation from a recognized Indian university for IMA And OTA

    ~ The candidate should be pass in Graduation along with pass in 12th with physics and maths for IAF And Indian Naval


    ~ Age Limit:

    ~ The Age for Indian Air Force should be 19-23

    ~ The age for the Indian Military exam should be 19-24

    ~ And the age for the Officer's Training Academy 19-25

    ~ For the Indian Naval the age should be 19-22


    Citizen:

    ~ The candidate should be A Citizen Of India

    to apply for the upsc exam candidate must have attain the age of 21 years,
    below that age a candidate is not eligible for the upsc exam,

    as you mentioned your age as 20 years,
    so i am really sorry to inform you that you are not eligible for the upsc exam,
    you cannot apply for the upsc exam,

    but dear friend you can give SCRA exam which is also conducted by upsc,

    UPSC conducts many exams like- Civil services(IAS,IPS),IES,NDA,SCRA

    You can give only SCRA exam because requirements for SCRA-

    Age 17-21
    Candidate must be passed 12th exam or 12th appearing.
    Candidate must be Indian civilization.

    For civil services-

    Age-
    For general 21-30
    For OBC 21-33
    For SC/ST 21-35

    Candidate must be passed or in last year of his/her graduation course.

    Candidate must be Indian civilization.

    You can not apply for civil services exam.
