The essential qualification for the UPSC's CSAT examination is to pass the Bachelors degree at any recognized university. The age limit is within 21-30 years. The age relaxation for the OBC is 03years and for SC/ST, it is 05 years. Yes you are definitely eligible for UPSC - civil services exams because you are holding a degree in engineering and according to upsc board and government rules every graduate is eligible to apply for civil services exam who is possessing a degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and SC/STs are allowed with 45% marks too but the limitation in age should be 21-30 years means the candidate's age should not be more than 30 years of age and less than 21 but if he/she belong to reserved category then they are eligible till 35 years for SC/ST and 33 years for OBCs and for all UPSC - Civil services exams the above mentioned age criteria is applicable means no change in any of the - IAS, IPS, IFS, IFoS, IES etc.

So if your university is a recognized from UGC, then you can definitely appear for the examination. The age limit for the examination is within 21-30 years. The upper age limit for the examination is 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC/ST candidates. There is only 04 chances for General candidates, 07 chances for OBC and up to 35 years of age for SC/ST candidates to appear the examination.
