Can a SC candidate apply for selection post against a unreserved vacancy advertised by UPSC. The max age for the post is 35yrs, can he get upper age relaxation under the central govt employee (5yrs) and another 5yrs as he belongs to SC, i.e. total 10 yrs in age relaxation for unreserved post.

You can get the attempt for appearing to be extended and the cut-off is reduced for SC/ST less than the other categories... There no limit for no.of times appearing.. A SC/ST candidate can appear for no limit times... Under all criteria for eligibility are cleared...
