My one leg and one wrist had undergone a surgery, I have slight weakness in both. Can I avail the benefits of OAL category in UPSC exam? How to give proof of such disability? Is there anything related to UPSC regarding such problems?

    Dear,
The UPSC accepts the reservation as OH (Orthopedics Handicapped) in its all services except the defence related posts like IPS, NDA, CPF(AC) & CDS etc.. The Percentage of disability must be above 40%. So you have to go for the CDMO(Chief District Medical Officer) of your Government Medical Dispensary. After inquiring completely, if the Medical officer recommends you as to this category. The a OH certificate will be issued by him and you can produce that certificate in all the Govt. jobs for the relaxation. Thanks.........
