The civil services exam
For the civil services exam you should be pass
In graduation from a recognized indian university
And also your age should be also according to the criteria
Your age must be between 21-30
And if you are a sc.st then 21-35
And if you are a obc candidate then 21-33
And for the ph candidates it is 21-40
If you are filling the above requirements then you can go for the exam

it is divided into two categories
1. Prelims
2. Mains
you have to clear both the exams.
Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services :
you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.
your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.
And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

To be a collector you will have to apply for Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC once in a year.
This exam is conducted at national Level and exam standard is highly tough.
Required Qualification
You should be graduated in any branch from recognized university or its equivalent.
Final year candidates can also apply
Age must be between 21 to 30 years.
Age relaxation
SC/ST + 5 years
OBC + 3 years
PH + 10 years
You must be Indian.
