    Dear Aspirant

    Yes you can become collector but you have to give the upsc exam

    If you want to join as a collector and you have to give

    The civil services exam

    For the civil services exam you should be pass

    In graduation from a recognized indian university

    And also your age should be also according to the criteria

    Your age must be between 21-30

    And if you are a sc.st then 21-35

    And if you are a obc candidate then 21-33

    And for the ph candidates it is 21-40

    If you are filling the above requirements then you can go for the exam

    dear friend,

    to become a district collector you have to clear civil services exam.
    it is divided into two categories
    1. Prelims
    2. Mains

    you have to clear both the exams.

    Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services :
    you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.

    your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

    And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

    Hi Aspirant,

    To be a collector you will have to apply for Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC once in a year.

    This exam is conducted at national Level and exam standard is highly tough.


    Required Qualification

    You should be graduated in any branch from recognized university or its equivalent.

    Final year candidates can also apply

    Age must be between 21 to 30 years.

    Age relaxation

    SC/ST + 5 years

    OBC + 3 years

    PH + 10 years

    You must be Indian.


    Exam pattern and syllabus

    You can start preparation for the CSE exam from 10th standard.

    It is the toughest exam of Indian and requires very hard work and dedication.

    You should join any leading coaching for the preparation of UPSC exam.

    Study with reference books.

    Regular study of 10 to 14 hours.

    Read competitive magazine like Pratiyogita Darpan.

    Practice previous year question paper to know your weak point as well as exam pattern.
