    How can I prepare for IAS with BA? My age is 22 and belong to OBC category

    sir i am Ram kumar.i am a peon of Revenue department .i want ias .my age is now 22year old .i am obc caste so please tell me sir do i ias . i am 12th passed and my study is continue . i want do ias with b.a. sir please help me .

    hi
    for giving the IAS exam, you need to be a graduate from a recognized university and your age should be in between 21-30 years of age. And as you belong to the obc category, you have a relaxation of 3 years which makes your age limit as 21-33 years .
    moreover, you have 7 attempts to take on the upsc civil services examination.

    Yes friend, you can apply for the Civil Service exam after completing BA in age of 22 years.

    Civil Service exam is conducted at national level once in a year.

    To apply for the Civil service exam You need to fulfil the application form.

    To apply for the Civil service exam you must follow the following eligibility criteria:

    You should be graduated in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent.

    You should be in age of 21 to 30 years.

    Age relaxation
    ============

    SC/ST + 5 years

    OBC + 3 years

    You must be the citizen of India.

    You can start the preparation for the Civil service exam in any good coaching institute.

    You should study news paper and competitive magazine.

    Study with reference books and NCERT books.

    Practice previous year question paper to understand the exam pattern.

    since you are from obc category you have 7 attempts for civil services exam till the age of 33 years. You can prepare for civil services while doing ba join any good coaching,solve as many papers as you can. work hard and practice more and more.

    join any good coaching institute. stay updated with the current scenario. select two optioanl subjects of your intterest and study them according to prescribed syallabus. work hard and solve as many problems as you can.

    Dear,
    You have to prepare for General Knowledge traditional as well as current affairs. Besides it, you have to follow the syllabus of the examination. The books like TATA MGRAWHILL OR PEARSON publication's General Knowledge Manual subjective is better for preparation. Since the no of attempts for OBC candidates is only seven within the age limit of 21 to 33 years, you have to prepare for it keeping this in mind.
