you can join INDIAN ARMY through NDA EXAM.
NDA EXAM is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
ONLY MALE CANDIDATES CAN APPEARED NDA EXAM.
QUALIFICATION FOR NDA:-
you should have to 12th passed from the recognized board.
AGE LIMITS:-
age should be 16.5 to 19 years.
not any age relaxation for any categories.

To Join in Indian Army through Union Public service Commission,You have two ways like by qualifying NDA exam and CDS examination.
These examination will be conducted by UPSC twice in every year in the month of March and September.

There are basically two exams that is conducted by the UPSC exams.
NDA-National Defence Academy-the exam is named as NDA and for the entry for all the three wings of the defence.
The army,air force and the navy,now the qualification required to apply for the air force,navy wing is the 10+2 passed or any other equivalent with physics and maths.
And with any stream for the army.
CDSE-Combined Defence Service Examination-the exam is for the entry in to different academy of the defence section.
IMA,OTA,NA,AFA.
Now for the entry in to the army,you need to apply for the IMA and the OTA.
IMA-Indian Military Academy-the qualification required is graduation from any stream,age limit-19 to 25 years-a entry for the army.
OTA-Officers Training Academy-the qualification required from any stream,age limit-19 to 24 years-a entry for the army.
