If your tribe comes under the list of cenral list of Scheduled Tribes, then there is NO LIMIT on the number of attempts for you.

For OBC category 7 attempts

You have not mentioned the name of the UPSC exams.From my point of view ,I think that you are asking about the no of attempts in civil services examiantions.

The no of attempts depends upon the category to which you belong :

For general : 4

For OBC: 7

For SC/ST: there is no limit ,they give examinations till their age limit.

Now if nomadic tribe comes under the central list of scheduled tribe then you will get unlimited no of attempts in the age limit 21-38 years.

Important:-According to you, you belong to a nomadic tribe which comes under the central list of Scheduled Tribe. So you can give exam till you age. And age limitation for you is 21-38 years
