    IRS stands for Indian Revenue Service.

    The Examination for IRS is conducted by UPSC.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Bachelor Degree in any of the stream from a recognized university.

    Candidates who have appeared for final year exams of Graduation and waiting for the result can also apply to this exam.


    Age criteria :

    Age should be between 21-30 years


    Relaxation in age is available to OBC/
    SC/ST category.

    IRS selection is divided into 3 phrases

    -objective type test

    -descriptive written exam

    -Interview

    to become a indian revenue service,you need to face the civil service exam,held by union public service commission (upsc)

    civil service exam stages=
    1)preliminary test (based on objective type)
    2)civil servicce main exam( who had qualify the preliminary)
    3)interview

    age limit=21-30 years
    must be an indian
    qualification=any bachelor degree
    % needed=minimum of 55%
    both men and women can apply for this

    IRS stands for Indian Revenue Service. Thecandidates for this post are recruited through Civil Services Examination.
    Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.

    Exam Pattern

    Civil Services Preliminary Examination(CSAT)
    Civil Services Main Examination and Personal Interview

    The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:The candidate must hold anydegree in any discipline from any recognized university. Final year degreestudents are also eligible
    The age limit is 21-30 yrs
    The maximum number of attempts for Generalcategory is 4
    The candidate should be Indian

    Hello Friend,
    IRS is simply known as Indian Revenue Service.IRS officer is the 4th most respected officer of civil service after the IAS,IPS,IFS's.
    Eligibility Required:
    1.Any degree from a recognized University is the minimum qualification required to appear the exam.
    2.The minimum age to appear the IRS exam would be 21 year to 30 year of age on 1st August of the year of examination.Upper age limit is relaxed for certain reserved categories.
    3.candidate who are applying for the exam should have Indian citizenship.

    Exam Procedure:
    The IRS exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).The aspirant has to procure the application form from any of the post office /head post office spread all over the country.In month of May/June the aspirant have to take the preliminary exam consist of 2 papers.this exam is just a qualifying exam.After that the final exam is held in normally month of October. Those candidate who qualified in the preliminary exam are supposed to take the final exam.Once you are qualified the test the final stage is interview to test their personality & mental ability.
    To become an IRS officer one can qualifying the entrance exam with a good rank.

    IRS stands for Indian Revenue Service.

    UPSC conducts the recruitment for the post of IRS through Civil Service exam.

    This exam is conducted once in a year at national level.

    Graduated candidates can apply for the Civil Service exam.

    You can also apply in final year of graduation.

    Your age should be 21 to 30 years.

    5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years of age relaxation for OBC

    You should be Indian.
