I am studying engineering course in Mechanical. I like arts subjects like Social sciences, Political Science, Economics. Can I do preparation for Civil Services?

i am doing engg. in mechanical . but but my dream to go in a civil services. i like subjects of art facaulty like social scince, political science economics etc.
plz suggest me can i do preparation for civil services

dear, if you are studying in engineering then why want to choose civil service, according to me you should choose IES (Indian Engineering Service) exam. And in this exam these subjects are also mention which you like most.

If you have interest in the subjects that you mentioned above then you must go for them,there is nothing to take suggestions.
The interest always take a man to the highest level of success,so you just go for those subjects in the civil services,and just do not even think twice for it.
The subjects you mentioned are very good and have importance in the civil services,just go what you like to do and screw every other aspect,do what you like.

It depents on candidate he can selcet any subject in which he is intersted
