and a dream of every graduate to become an IAS or IPS officer and serve he nation , also it the the most paid govt. job in our country. so ye it is quite tough exam as compared to other graduate level examination ,
but nothing is tough or impossible for the winners , so if you work hard then nothing is called tough for you so you should be determined towards your goal and work hard for the same, success will definitely touch your feet.

1. you should read news papers daily.
2. keep updated about latest govt. schemes and programs .
3. read some books like :- India today, pratiyogita darpan, the cronical....etc
4. always keep your basics clear about any topic you prepare for the examination.
5. make a timetable about your routine and follow it strictly.
6. always keep updated about current knowledge and social awareness.
7. keep strong your reasoning power and problem solving capability.
these are some basic techniques you should follow , it will surely help you .

Indian Administrative Services, IAS is the most prestigious job of the country. Therefore everybody wants to get it.
And yes, IAS is a very difficult exam to get through with.
You need to prepare for almost 10-12 hours daily in order to achieve success in this exam.
And a conitnous dedicate preparation of 2 years is needed to get through with the IAS examination, after clearing the IAS examination, you are appointed as the collector of the state and more prestigious positions like these.
for giving the exam, you just need to be a graduate and your age should be in between 21-30 years.

For that exam you can apply in the last year of graduation and also after graduation.
Your age must be under 21-30 years.
No physically requirements for that exam and also no percentage barrier for that exam.
