Is Periyar University approved by UGC and DEC? Is my B.Sc degree certificate from Periyar University valid for UPSC exams or not?

i have done my b.sc. it in distance mode from periyar university,in one sitting exam can i give upsc exam plz tell me i am very confuse and the periyar university is ugc and dec approved or not?

Eligibility;-

1)you must be graduate from recognized university. there is no percentage requirement.


2)Age limits is 21-30 years.

3 years age relaxation for obc category

5 years for sc/st category

10 years for physically handicapped

3)you must be Indian citizen as well as physically fit.

Yes you can definitely apply for UPSC exams since Periyar University is UGC 12(B) status approved university.
