It is good that you want to join IES exam after AMIE degree. IES exam stands for Indian Engineering Services which is conducted by UPSC.
Eligibility;-
You must be passed a bachelor degree from a recognized university. Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.
Your age should be between 21-30 years.
you must be Indian citizen.
IES exam pattern;-
Preliminary exam, Mains exam and Interview
If you want to clear IES exam, then you have to use your free time as preparation along with your study.
Preliminary exam consist general studies. therefore you have to increase your GK and English.
Start Reading newspaper daily and watching tv news daily.
Share new things with others
Speak English with others.
Every time think positive for your preparation.
Join any best coaching center of IES exam near your place.
Manage your time table ALONG WITH YOUR STUDY.
After clearing Preliminary exam,you have to clear Mains exam in which you have to clear general studies papers.
You have to choose your optional subjects,therefore you have to choose those subjects in which you have full interest of your field related subjects.
After clearing these two exam,you have to clear Interview to get IES post.
